Comparing your GPA with College GPA's

Parents and Students

Below are some easy to follow steps to compare your child’s current GPAs with the average GPAs of students accepted to a college they are aiming for.

  1. go to www.collegeboard.org
  2. Click College Search
  3. Search for a college in the Search Bar
  4. Click “Applying” on the left menu bar
  5. Click “Academics” on the menu bar in the middle of the page
  6. Scroll down to “High School GPA” at the bottom of the page
  7. Enter the student’s current GPA and the bar that correlates to that GPA for that school will turn green
