Mastery Charter Schools was named "EXEMPLAR"
charter school by the US Dept. of Education (1 of 15 nationwide)
in 2005. Student achievement is the reason we exist. Our efforts
to strengthen student achievement dominate all other values and
beliefs.
Mastery currently operates four schools in the City of
Philadelphia serving 1,500 students in grades 7 through 12. Next
year, our enrollment will be 1,750 students and when fully
enrolled these schools will serve nearly 2,500 students. We
have small class sizes and offer excellent pay and benefits for
staff; as well as time for planning and professional
development. We have excellent leadership and great colleagues
and support.
To succeed, all staff must be consciously engaged in a
continuous cycle of goal setting, action, measurement, and
analysis. Our mission is ambitious. We need proactive staff to
