Cornelius Cory

Cornelius Clory is a senior cyber security major with a minor in digital forensics at Virginia Union University. He is from Caroline County, Virginia and is working with the tech team here at Mastery. Cornelius is really into fashion and loves to listen to hip hop and R&B. His favorite memory from school so far is obtaining a 4.0 GPA this past semester. While interning with Mastery, he would like to expand his knowledge in his area of study and with internet technology.

Jazmine Devone

Jazmine Devone is a senior majoring in child development and family studies at North Carolina A&T University. She is from Riegelwood, North Carolina and will be working with the talent team here at Mastery. Jazmine holds a Birth through Kindergarten licensure that qualifies her to teach in North Carolina and other states. She loves to write and works for her university’s newspaper as the opinion editor. Her most memorable moment in school was when she found out she was chosen as a finalist for this internship. “I felt amazing,” she said. She’s looking forward to interning at Mastery and gaining experience working with charter schools.

Jeanna Johnson

Jeanna Johnson is a senior criminal justice student at Dillard University. She is originally from Kansas City, Missouri and loves the arts. She is working with our academic team here at Mastery this summer. Her favorite memory from school is being elected sophomore class president and appointed to the White House Initiative’s HBCU All-Star Program at the same time. During her time at Mastery, she would like to get hands on experience with the education system, build connections, and gain mentorship skills that she can pass down later in life.

Clement Gibson

Clement Gibson is a senior majoring in mass communication with a focus in journalism and media studies at “Thee I Love” Jackson State University. He is from Minneapolis, Minnesota and is working with our communications and development teams here at Mastery. While he is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree, Clement holds an associate degree in communication studies and business administration. His most memorable moment at Jackson State was winning the Spike Lee award for acting, directing and writing. He hopes to get more opportunities to put his creativity to the test. Whether it is through public relations, marketing, branding or fundraising, Clement is always up for a challenge.
