All students living in Philadelphia and Camden are eligible to enter the lottery for Mastery schools in the city where they live. However, some of our schools in Philadelphia have neighborhood preferences. Click here for details about those preferences.

Students do not have to take an entrance exam or meet academic requirements to attend Mastery schools. We give preference to students with siblings currently attending the school they are applying to.

Mastery currently serves grades K-12 in Philadelphia and grades K-11 in Camden.

Starting in the 2019-2020 school year, our Camden schools will also serve K-12.

There are three ways to apply to a Mastery school:

  1. Online at masterycharter.org/enroll
  2. In person at one of our schools
  3. By phone: Philadelphia (800)891-3999 or Camden (856) 536-3999
  • Camden families can also apply at the Camden Enrollment Family Enrollment Center at the Kroc Center

For schools with a lottery, all applications will go through the lottery process to determine who receives an offer to enroll and who will be placed on the waitlist. Families admitted through the lottery will be notified and invited to complete the enrollment process.
